PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID & SPECIAL MEETINGS Sealed Bids will be received by Hayfield Township and Cussewago Township Supervisors, at 17882 Townhouse Road, Saegertown, PA, until 11:00 am on October 10, 2017 where all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a *Special Meeting* of Hayfield and Cussewago Township supervisors at the Hayfield Township Building, for the following: •Removal of existing concrete bridge and installation of box culvert as well as removal of a 30” cast ductile iron and installation of a 30” x 80’ HPDE cross pipe, Head and End Walls and Streambank Rip Rap (D&G 2017-3). •Procurement of 24-1" x 6'6" x 36' Aluminum Box Culvert and 30" HPDE Pipe (D&G 2017-4) Bidding Documents for each contract may be reviewed at and copies obtained from Hayfield Township at the above address, by appointment by calling (814) 763-6115. The cost of each set of Bidding Documents shall be $25 for D&G 2017-3 and $25.00 for D&G 2017-4, nonrefundable, payable to Hayfield Township. Special delivery of documents will be subject to additional charges. Bids for D&G 2017-3 (Installation) will only be accepted from those persons whose name and address are on record with the Township as having obtained the Bidding Documents (and addenda, if any) and who have attended the mandatory pre-bid project showing scheduled for Friday, September 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the site on Fry Road. A certified check or bank draft payable to Hayfield Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and as acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Hayfield Township and Cussewago Township reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Townships for a period not to exceed 60 days from the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. The Hayfield Township and Cussewago Township Supervisors will jointly conduct a *Special Meeting* on October 11, 2017 at 1 pm at the Hayfield Township Building 17882 Townhouse Road for the purpose of reviewing bids and taking action for both contracts.
