PUBLIC NOTICE The Vernon Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 7:15 P.M. at the Vernon Township Municipal Building, 16678 McMath Avenue, Meadville, PA. The purpose of the hearing is for public comments for the Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance as follows: PART 4 – PROVISIONS THAT APPLY IN EACH ZONING DISTRICT (a) Sub-Section 27-403 RETAIL AND SERVICE BUSINESS (CR) To include Two-Family dwelling as a Permitted Use. (b) Sub-Section 27-406 CONNEAUT CORRIDOR DISTRICT (CC) To change the dimensional standards to provide consistency with the Retail and Service Business District. (c) Sub-Section 27-406 CONNEAUT CORRIDOR DISTRICT (CC) To include “upper-level” apartments as an Accessory Use. (d) Sub-Section 27-406 CONNEAUT CORRIDOR DISTRICT (CC) To include any retail sales or personal, professional, or business service compatible with permitted uses. (e) Zoning Map Amendment to change the existing Business & Manufacturing (BM) zoning district located along Murray Road (T150) to the Conneaut Corridor (CC) zoning district. PART 6 – CONDITIONAL AND SPECIAL EXCEPTION USES Sub-Section 27-601 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS To allow conditional uses for which variances may be required to accommodate such use.
