PUBLIC NOTICE Linesville Borough Council will consider the adoption of the following Ordinance at its regular meeting on December 13, 2016 at 6 oclock p.m. at the Linesville Borough Building located at 103 West Erie Street, Linesville, Pennsylvania TAX LEVY ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO. _____ AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF LINESVILLE, COUNTY OF CRAWFORD, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE YEAR 2016 AND AMENDING SECTIONS 229 17 AND 229 25 OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF LINESVILLE. BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED, and it is hereby Ordained and Enacted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Linesville, County of Crawford, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: That the tax be and the same is hereby levied on all real property within the Borough of Linesville subject to taxation for the fiscal Year 2017 as follows: Tax rate for general purposes, the sum of 15.2 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation. This ordinance hereby also amends Section 229 177 of the Code of the Borough of Linesville to establish and continue the Per Capita Tax of $5.00 for everyone over 18 years of age. This ordinance also amends Section 229 25 of the Code of the Borough of Linesville to establish and continue the Local Services Tax in the amount of $52 on each person for each calendar year. That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, conflicting with this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed insofar as the same affects this ordinance. This Ordinance shall be effective January 1, 2017 and shall remain in force in subsequent years unless amended, modified or repealed. Jeffrey K.
